Processing PM for Work Details and Related Objects
Work Orders generated using a PM Process with ‘Number of Work Orders’ set to “One per Plan” will create work detail lines for the PM Coverages from the PM Plan:
• This only applies to PM Plans with Coverage Type set to Product
• PM Coverage’s Product Name value is mapped to the Serial Number field
• The Work Detail’s Record Type is set to Products Serviced
Work Orders generated from PM Plans that utilize “Task Templates/Work Order Purpose” functionality will have tasks and required parts created on related objects, as configured in the PM Process.
