Notifying PM Process Runs
Schedules that run via the PM Process and SCON Scheduler provides notifications of Success or Failure:
When the scheduled run is successful:
An email notification is sent to the email address in the field “Send success notifications to this email address” (optional)
A Task record is created for the PM Plan-related list, if the “Create an activity in PM Plan upon successful execution” checkbox is set to TRUE.
When the scheduled run encounters an error/failure:
An email notification is sent to the email address in the field “Send error notifications to this email address” (mandatory)
A Task record is created for the PM Plan-related list if the “Create an activity in PM Plan if errors occur in execution” checkbox is set to TRUE.
A detailed log file is generated, if the “Enable Logging” checkbox is set to TRUE (optional).
This log file will attach to success and failure email notifications
