Optional Customizations and Configurations
If you need to measure this metric based on any custom attributes/conditions/mapping specific to your organization, the following are the aspects you need to consider:
• If not using the OOTB field, create a custom field in Work Order: To fetch the Installed Product lookup field.
• Configure a new custom SFM transaction / extend an existing custom transaction:
◦ Mark the work order as having downtime details (by automatically setting the custom field / extended picklist field to the appropriate value)
◦ Capture Work Order downtime information as Down Time records.
• If required, configure custom SFM expressions to qualify work orders for processing.
The standard SFM expression available for this is SVMXSTD: To Identify Work Orders with Downtime details.
• If required, configure custom SFM expressions to qualify Installed Products for processing.
In the SFM mapping, do not include fields such as Installed Products, which are mandatorily mapped from source to metric objects through specific configurable parameters.
If required, update the value of the global configuration setting SET0010(default: 365 days), to limit the age of the Installed Products considered for a metric generation.
