Output Document Delivery engine is invoked when you click an SFM Wizard button mapped to a specific Output Document, or when you click a custom Salesforce button configured to launch an Output Document.

When you click an SFM Wizard button configured to Select Template At Runtime, you are presented with the list of available Output Documents associated with the target header object as shown below. You can choose one of the templates to launch the Output Document Delivery engine.
