Language Support and Translations
The ServiceMax suite terms and label translations are part of the managed package and are rendered out-of-the-box (OOTB) for all supported languages. When you change the logged-in user's language on Salesforce org, the translations are available in that language. For more information, see Loading OOTB Translations.

Support for RTL Languages
The ServiceMax Core supports RTL languages on the SFM Delivery pages. The end-users can view the right-to-left (RTL) display of field labels on the SFM Delivery page if the logged-in user has chosen an RTL language.

Note: RTL languages such as Hebrew and Arabic language translations are not supported in ServiceMax Core. You can use the ServiceMax Translation Workbench to define new translations and override existing translations. For more information, see Managing Translations Using ServiceMax Translation Workbench.
Locale Support
Locale-specific formatting in SFM screens for the date, datetime, number, currency, and percentage fields, including decimal and thousand separators, are supported in the SFM Designer and SFM Delivery screens and are based on the user’s device settings. To allow admins to align output document field formats with business standards, the formatting of locale-sensitive fields in output documents depends on the locale setting in Salesforce for the logged-in user.
Management of translations of ServiceMax strings is split between the Salesforce platform and ServiceMax Translation Workbench.
The Salesforce platform defines translations for configuration data defined in Salesforce, such as object and field labels, picklist values, record type labels, and so on.
The ServiceMax Translation Workbench is used for configuration data such as name, description, and error messages defined in the ServiceMax configuration screens such as SFM Transactions, SFM Wizards, SFM Searches, Technical Attributes, SFM Checklists, and Inventory processes.
Translation management includes both defining new translations and overriding existing translations.
The ServiceMax Go app terms and label translations that are part of the managed package are rendered out-of-the-box (OOTB) for all supported languages. When you change the logged-in user's language on Salesforce org, the translations are available in that language. You can also change the language from the device settings on which the ServiceMax Go app is hosted.
