Managing Translations Using ServiceMax Translation Workbench
ServiceMax configuration is stored as data in special ServiceMax objects. Configuration data include name and description of ServiceMax settings, Dispatch Console Views, SFM transactions, and so on. Some of the configuration data include strings displayed in end-user UI screens. For example, SFM Transaction Name, SFM Wizard and Wizard Step Name, and SFM Search Name are displayed in browsers (online apps) and mobile apps. To enable the reuse of the same configuration across all supported languages, it has to be translatable.
ServiceMax Translation Workbench provides the mechanism to manage the translations for labels and messages configured in SFM Transactions, SFM Wizards, SFM Search, Technical Attributes, SFM Checklists, and Inventory processes.
For more information, see ServiceMax Translation Workbench.
