Adding IB Timeline to Lightning Record Page
You can add the Installed Base (IB) Timeline component to the record page with a lookup to the IB object. To view the IB timeline on the record page, you must add the IB Timeline component to the lightning page.
To add the IB Timeline to the lightning record page:
1. Open an object record.
2. Navigate to Setup > Edit Page. The Lightning App Builder page is displayed.
3. From the Custom Components section of the App Builder page, locate the Timeline component. Drag and drop the Timeline component into the main page area.
4. Click the Timeline component and enter the following details in the Page > IB Timeline section.
Field
Description
Fields marked with * are mandatory.
Label*
Name of the timeline component to be displayed. The default value is Timeline.
Select IB field*
Select any field that has a lookup to the IB record.
Note: In addition, any IB-related custom lookup fields are also listed as options.
Height*
The height of the timeline component display - Small, Medium, or Large.
The default height is Medium.
Historical Time Range (months)*
The number of months in the past you want to view the timeline information. You can choose to view the information for a maximum of 12 months.
The default time is three months.
Future Time Range (months)*
The number of months in the future for which you want to view the timeline information. You can choose to view the information for a maximum of 12 months.
The default time is two months.
5. Click Activate to activate the Timeline component on the current org.
6. Click Save. You can view the IB Timeline component on the record page.​

You can enable the Timeline component for any standard or custom record page with a lookup to the IB record. For example, Case, Work Order.
