Creating a Service Pricebook
You can create a Service Pricebook to define standard pricing for service activities, parts, and labor, including labor associated with Work Plans. The Service Pricebook serves as a central reference for applying consistent and contract-aligned pricing across service transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and entitlement calculations.
To create a Service Pricebook:
1. Click the App Launcher, type Service Pricebooks in the search bar, and select it from results.
The Service Pricebooks page is displayed.
2. Click New.
The New Service Pricebook pop-up window is displayed.
3. In the Pricebook Name field, enter the price book name.
4. To make the price book active, select the Active check box.
5. To save the changes, click Save.
A confirmation message displays when the price book is created. You can then add labor entries and labor specific to Work Plans. For more information, see Adding Labor and Adding Labor for Work Plan.
