Configurations Auto-deployed with Package Installation
Installing the ServiceMax package provides you with the basic functionalities of the ServiceMax product. Some of the default configurations are automatically loaded as part of the post-package installation process. If your use case works fine with the basic functionalities, you can skip running the Configurator.

If you are using a configuration-only sandbox or a partial copy sandbox for development and testing purposes, the above-mentioned configurations are not loaded as part of the package installation. You must load the configuration data either by running the ServiceMax Configurator or by Deploy ServiceMax Configuration.
