A ServiceMax Configuration Profile represents a collection of the values of all the applicable ServiceMax Configuration Settings.

There are two types of ServiceMax Configuration Profiles:

Org-wide Profile (also known as Global profile): An org-wide profile contains values of ALL settings, irrespective of whether the setting type is Global or Group. There can be only one active org-wide profile for an org, and it is not associated with any Salesforce profile because it is applicable for all users.

Group Profile: A group profile holds configuration values of settings of the type Group only. The groups of users to which a group profile applies is identified by the set of Salesforce profiles associated with the group profile.
