A Dispatch Console enables organizations to achieve this in an interactive manner, by providing quick and organized access to all the required data, options to process the relevant information, and intuitive user interface to manage the workload and scheduling. It also helps visualize, validate, and adjust the assignment and schedules done through semi-automatic or automatic methods.
The ServiceMax Dispatch Console has been built taking into consideration all the key aspects of manual dispatch. These include work order list view with filtering, ability to search for the right team/technician for the job, an easy to use calendar that shows technicians' availability and enables scheduling, and a map to view work order and technician locations and daily route of technicians. Various aspects of the Dispatch Console are made configurable, with some admin-defined options and some user-defined options.
