Adding Non-Work Order Event
You can create a non-Work Order event by clicking the Add Event icon.
The following are the salient features of the Non-Work Order Event window:
• When you click Add Event icon, it opens the New Event creation window for the highlighted technician.
• If you don’t have any selected technician when clicking Add Event icon, you will see the message ‘Please select a technician for the event’ in the Assigned to field. You can select a technician by clicking the technician in the tree.
• The New Event window displays Service Team View and Territory View listing all the Service Teams and Territories accessible to you and the active technicians associated with them.
• The Field Updates tab displays any Event fields configured in the Dispatch Console Field Updates configuration screen. All the date times are displayed as per your (logged-in user’s) locale in Salesforce.
• The Type field is displayed only if
SET005 (Module Dispatch Management > Submodule: Event Management) is set to True and the user's profile has access to the Type field in the Event object. This applies to both Salesforce and ServiceMax Event objects.
