Best Practices
The following are the best practices when adding service product to the work order using the SFM:
1. In custom SFMs, add validation to avoid creating service product with blank installed product.

2. Avoid adding Component on Work Order as Service Product using the SFM when the Create Work Order Service Product auto-launch flow is active. A duplicate Service Product record will be created on saving the SFM for the same component if you do so.
3. When adding Service product to Work Order using the SFM, do not add same Service Product (that is, Installed Product) more than once to the Work Order. It is recommended to add only one Service Product record for each Installed Product per Work Order.
4. Do not create Service Product entries without the Installed Product reference.
