Editing an Existing Demand Forecast
Modify the configuration of an existing demand forecast, including its forecast period, historical date range, and filter criteria.
You can edit a demand forecast that is in Draft status to update its configuration parameters. When editing, the wizard opens directly at the Demand Forecast Generator step, bypassing the AI-assisted builder.
Prerequisites
You must have access to the Demand Forecasting module in PTC Orbit.
At least one demand forecast must exist in the system.
Perform the following steps to edit an existing demand forecast.
1. Navigate to Demand Forecasting from the left navigation menu.
The Demand Forecasting list page displays all existing forecasts.
2. Locate the forecast you want to edit. Optionally, use the Filter fields in the Name, Description, or Status columns to narrow the list.
3. Click the more actions icon (three vertical dots) in the row of the forecast you want to edit.
A context menu displays with Edit and Delete options.
4. Click Edit.
The Demand Forecast Generator opens with the existing forecast configuration pre-populated, including Forecast Period, Historical Date Range, and Asset Criteria.
5. Modify the forecast parameters as needed. You can update the Forecast Period dates, Historical Date Range, and Asset Criteria.
