About the PDX Analysis Tools
There are four PDX analysis tools in addition to the Strip Wizard Cut Effort calculation tool. Click PDX Tools and then click and one of the following commands:
Open the Tool—Creates a mechanism that opens and closes a tool and animates the tool opening process.
Verify Strip Collision—Opens the Pocket tool to determines whether the strip collides with the tool plates. You can also use the Pocket tool to create cut outs for the colliding articles.
Calculate Line Chain Center—Calculates the center of a line chain and creates a coordinate system on this point in order to calculate and place the force center of a cutting operation.
Verify Contour Gaps—Finds the gaps in a set of curves or edges.
