About Creo Progressive Die Extension
Use the commands on the PDX menu to access the tools required to create article references to sheetmetal parts, build a strip, create a tool assembly, draw a new die, create stamping equipment, screws and pins, and run functional analyses, as follows:
• Article—creates and manages articles.
• Strip—creates strips.
• Die Set—creates and modifies projects.
• Component Engine—creates, modifies or removes stamping equipment or stamp reference parts.
• Contour Stamps—creates and modifies contour stamps.
• Screws—creates, modifies or removes screws.
• Pins—creates, modifies or removes pins.
• SMARTHolechart—accesses hole chart drawing functionalities.
• Drawing Annotations—accesses drawing annotation functionalities.
• Hole Overview—creates manufacturing related information tables for drawings.
• Inspection Characteristics—creates inspection characteristics tables for drawings.
• Accelerate Regeneration—controls strip regeneration behavior.
• Analysis—accesses analysis functionalities.
• Organization—customizes the application.
• Revision—builds progressive die tool versions.
• Help—accesses the online help.

All operations can be performed directly on a part or on its article reference. Article references are associative copies of the article which are updated when they are regenerated.
