Requires competence (UPDM - MODAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Requires Competence:
• From a
Post or
Role Type: right-click the element, point to Links, point to Operational, and then click Required Competence. From the Links Editor dialog, select the required
Competence elements.
• From a
Competence: right-click the Competence, point to Links, point to Operational, and then click Required By. From the Links Editor dialog, select the
Post or
Role Type elements that require the Competence.

OV-4 Typical Organizational Relationships Chart, a Requires Competence appears as follows:
