Structural part (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Structural Part:
From an Enterprise Phase or Whole Life Enterprise: right-click the element, point to New, point to NAF, and then click Structural Part. On the Select Type dialog, create or select the Enterprise Phase or Whole Life Enterprise that is the type of the Structural Part, or create an untyped Structural Part.
From an NCV-1 Enterprise Vision:
Click the Composite Association toolbar button, click the owning Enterprise Phase or Whole Life Enterprise, and then click the Enterprise Phase or Whole Life Enterprise that is the type of the Structural Part. From the dialog, select Structural Part.
Click the Structural Part toolbar button, click the owning Enterprise Phase or Whole Life Enterprise. On the Select Type dialog, create or select the Enterprise Phase or Whole Life Enterprise that is the type of the Structural Part, or create an untyped Structural Part.
You can convert a Structural Part to a Temporal Part: right click the Structural Part, point to Convert To, and then click Temporal Part.

When shown on an NCV-1 Enterprise Vision, a Structural Part appears as follows:
Relationships
There are no relationships that are of significant importance to a Structural Part.
