Requires competence (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Requires Competence:
• From a Post or Responsibility: right-click the element, point to Links, point to Operational, and then click Required Competence. From the Links Editor dialog, select the required Competence elements.
• From a Competence: right-click the Competence, point to Links, point to Operational, and then click Required By. From the Links Editor dialog, select the Post or Responsibility elements that require the Competence.
• From an NOV-4 Typical Organizational Relationships Chart: click the Requires Competence toolbar button, click the source Post or Responsibility, and then click the required Competence.

When shown on an NOV-4 Typical Organizational Relationships Chart, a Requires Competence appears as follows:
