Entity item (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create an Entity Item:
From a Logical Data Model or Physical Data Model: right-click the Logical Data Model or Physical Data Model, point to New, point to NAF, point to Technical, and then click Entity Item.
From an NOV-7 Information Model or NSV-11 System Data Model, click the Entity Item toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram.
Appearance
When shown on an NOV-7 Information Model or NSV-11 System Data Model, an Entity Item appears as follows:
Relationships
The following relationships are of importance to an Entity Item:
Details relationships link the Entity Item to related Exchange Element elements.
Entity Relationship relationships link the Entity Item to related Entity Item elements.
