Enterprise goal (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create an Enterprise Goal:
From an Architectural Description or Service Description: right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description, point to New, point to NAF, point to Capability, and then click Enterprise Goal.
From an NCV-1 Enterprise Vision: click the Enterprise Goal toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram.
After creating an Enterprise Goal you can set its synchronization status: right-click the Enterprise Goal, point to Set, and then click Synchronization Status.

When shown on an NCV-1 Enterprise Vision, an Enterprise Goal appears as follows:
Relationships
The following relationships are of importance to an Enterprise Goal:
Link an Enterprise Goal to Enterprise Phase and Whole Life Enterprise elements that are its directed phases: right-click the Enterprise Goal, point to Links, and then click Directed Phase.
