Asynchronous message (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create an Asynchronous Message:
• From an Architectural Description or Service Description: right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description, point to New, point to NAF, point to Service, and then click Asynchronous Message.
• From an NSOV-2 Service Definition: click the Asynchronous Message toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram.

When shown on an NSOV-2 Service Definition, an Asynchronous Message appears as follows:
