Service concurrent state (UPDM - MODAF aliases)
A Service Concurrent State is a proprietary element that is required to model UPDM in Modeler.
Creation
To create a Service Concurrent State:
From a Service State Machine: right-click the Service State Machine, point to New, point to MODAF, and then click Service Concurrent State.
From an SOV-4b Service State Model: click the Service Concurrent State toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram.
To create a new compartment on a Service Concurrent State:
From a Service Concurrent State: right-click the Service Concurrent State, point to New, point to MODAF, and then click Service Sequential State.
From an SOV-4b Service State Model: click the Service Concurrent Compartment toolbar button, and then click the Service Concurrent State.

Relationships
The following relationships are of importance to a Service Concurrent State:
UML Transitions link a Service Concurrent State to other State Diagram elements ( SOV-4b Service State Model).
Service Function elements can be invoked by a Service Concurrent State: right-click the Service Concurrent State, point to Links, and then click Do Service Function.
Service Operation elements can be invoked by a Service Concurrent State: right-click the Service Concurrent State, point to Links, and then click Do Service Operation.
Service State Machine elements can be invoked by a Service Concurrent State: right-click the Service Concurrent State, point to Links, and then click Do Service State Machine.
