Service channel (UPDM - MODAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Service Channel:
From an OV-2 Operational Node Relationship Description or SV-2 Resource Communications Description: click the Shallow Service Channel or Shallow Uni-Directional Service Channel toolbar button, click the source Requestor Service, and then click the destination Request or Service.
To create a Service Channel and the connecting Request or Service elements in one operation:
From an OV-2 Operational Node Relationship Description: click the Complete Service Channel toolbar button, click the source Known Resource, Node Role or Problem Domain, and then click the destination Known Resource, Node Role or Problem Domain.
Choose whether to create source and destination Request or Service elements, and then select the type of those elements.
From an SV-2 Resource Communications Description: click the Complete Service Channel toolbar button, click the source Resource Role, and then click the destination Resource Role.
Choose whether to create source and destination Request or Service elements, and then select the type of those elements.
