TellMe utility - compare items dialog (TellMe utility)
The Compare Items dialog allows you to compare selected attributes of selected objects.
To open the Compare Items dialog from the Browser tab:
• Right-click an association folder, and then click Compare Items.
The Compare Items dialog compares all objects that are linked to the owning object through the association.
To open the Compare Items dialog from the Find tab:
• If you want to compare selected objects from the Results pane:
Select the objects you want to compare, right-click one of the objects you selected, point to Compare Items, and then click Selected Items.
• If you want to compare all objects in the Results pane:
Right-click any object, point to Compare Items, and then click All Items.
To add an attribute or association column:
1. In the Add Columns drop-down list, select the attribute or association you want to add.
2. Click the associated
button.
To remove an attribute or association column:
1. In the Remove Columns drop-down list, select the column attribute or association you want to remove.
2. Click the associated
button.
To reorder the columns:
• Drag the attribute or association column heading to the required position.
To view the content of a cell in a separate window:
• Double-click the cell.
To copy selected text in the separate window, use Ctrl + C.
To order the objects through an attribute or association column:
• Click the attribute or association column heading.
To export the content of the of the dialog to Excel, HTML or XML
• Right-click the background of the dialog, point to Export, and then click Excel, HTML or XML.
