Starting the variant selector
Note that you can use the Variant Selector only on computers that have Modeler installed.
To start the variant selector from Windows:
Under Windows 10:
On the Windows Start menu, click All Apps, click PTC Integrity Modeler, and then click Variant Selector.
Under Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012:
On the Windows Apps screen, in the PTC Integrity Modeler group, click Variant Selector.
Under Windows 7 and earlier supported versions of Windows:
On the Windows Start menu, click All Programs, click PTC Integrity Modeler, and then click Variant Selector.
To start the variant selector from Modeler:
1. In Modeler, open the Model that contains the Decision Set that you want to edit.
2. In a Modeler browser, optionally select the Decision Set that you want to edit.
3. On the Tools menu, click Variant Selector.
The Variant Selector starts, opens the model that is currently open in Modeler, and selects the Decision Set that was selected in Modeler for editing, if one was selected.
Alternatively:
1. In Modeler, open the Model that contains the Decision Set that you want to edit.
2. Right-click the Decision Set you want to edit, point to Tools, and then click Variant Selector.
The Variant Selector starts, opens the model that is currently open in Modeler, and selects the Decision Set that you right-clicked for editing.
