Removing packages from a CM tool model (CM tool integration)
1. From Modeler, check out the Package that owns the Package (or Model) you want to delete, ensuring that you include sub-Packages. For more information, see Checking out packages for editing (CM tool integration).
2. From Modeler, delete the Package you want to remove from the CM tool Model.
3. Right-click the Package you checked out, point to Tools > Configuration Management, and then click Check In.
4. If you want to include a comment, type the comment in the Comment box.
5. Select the Check In Sub-packages check box, so that the Package you deleted is removed from the CM tool Model.
6. Click OK.
7. If required, from the CM tool Model, delete both the Package file (PKF) that stored the removed Package, and the look up file (IDF) for the removed Package.
*
To delete a Package, you require Owner access permissions to the Modeler parent Package.
If you do not delete the CM tool files for the removed Package, you will not be able to later check in a Package which has the same scoped name.
