The Object Node entry is used for setting the view options of the following item types: Central Buffers, Data Stores, Input Pins and Output Pins.
The following view options are available for Central Buffers and Data Stores:
• Show Object Node Type—specifies that the type of the Central Buffer or Data Store is shown. The type is shown as follows: «Central Buffer» or «Data Store».
• Show Data Type—specifies that the Central Buffer's or Data Store's data type is shown.
• Show In State—specifies that the names of States that are linked to the Central Buffer or Data Store through the In State relationship are shown.
• Show Multiplicity—specifies that the Multiplicity of the Central Buffer or Data Store is shown.
• Show Ordering—specifies that the Ordering of the Central Buffer or Data Store is shown.
The following view option is available only when the Central Buffer or Data Store is on an Activity Partition:
• Docking Type—specifies whether the Central Buffer or Data Store is docked to the boundary of the Activity Partition.
The following view options are available for Input Pins and Output Pins:
• Show Name—specifies that the name of the Input Pin or Output Pin is shown.
• Show Data Type—specifies that the item's data type is shown.
• Show In State—specifies that the names of States that are linked to the item through the In State association are shown.
• Show Multiplicity—specifies that the Multiplicity of the item is shown.
• Show Ordering—specifies that the Ordering of the item is shown.
If you opened the View Options by right-clicking the diagram background, the check boxes you select set the default view options for any Central Buffers and Data Stores that are added to the diagram there after.
If you opened the View Options by right-clicking one or more selected Central Buffers and Data Stores, the check boxes you select change the view options of those items only.
