Creating an object flow
1. On the Activity Diagram toolbar, click the Object Flow toolbar button.
2. On the Activity Diagram, click the source item.
The source item can be any control node item (Activity Final Node, Decision Node, Flow Final Node, Fork Node, Initial Node, Join Node or Merge Node), or a Central Buffer, Data Store or Output Pin.
3. On the Activity Diagram, click the destination item.
The destination item can be any control node item (Activity Final Node, Decision Node, Flow Final Node, Fork Node, Initial Node, Join Node or Merge Node), or an Central Buffer, Data Store or Input Pin.
4. Type the name of the Object Flow, and then press the Enter key.
5. If you want to specify that the Object Flow interrupts an Interruptible Region (applies only when the object Flow starts inside an Interruptible Region and ends outside the Interruptible Region):
a. Open the Object Flow's Property Pages.
b. Click the Items tab.
c. In the Show Associated list, select Interrupts.
d. Click the Link button.
e. Select the check box associated with the Interruptible Region that is interrupted by the Control Flow, and then click OK.
