Adding an existing variation point to a diagram
You can add a Variation Point to a diagram in the following ways:
• By dragging the Variation Point to the diagram.
• Through the Variation Point toolbar button.
• Through the Add > Variation Point command from the diagram background.
To add an existing variation point to a diagram through a drag-and-drop operation:
1. Open the diagram to which you want to add a Variation Point.
2. In an appropriate Modeler pane, locate the Variation Point that you want to add to the diagram.
3. Drag the Variation Point from the Modeler pane to the diagram.
To add an existing variation point to a diagram through the variation point toolbar button:
1. Open the diagram to which you want to add a Variation Point.
2. On the Variant Diagram or Variability toolbar, click the
Variation Point button, and then
right-click in free space on the diagram.
3. From the Select Object dialog, select the Variation Point that you want to add to the diagram, and then click OK.
To add an existing variation point to a diagram through the diagram background:
1. Open the diagram to which you want to add a Variation Point.
2. Right-click the diagram background, point to Add, and then click Variation Point.
3. From the Select Object dialog, select the Variation Point that you want to add to the diagram, and then click OK.
