Fix It button
When available, you can click the Fix It button to resolve a review failure in the model:
• When the button appears next to a review failure, clicking the button fixes the associated item in the model.
• When the button appears next to a review heading, clicking the button fixes all items that failed the review in the model.
Ignore button
The Ignore button allows you to stop an item from being reported as failing a Review next time that Review is run by any Review Report.
When you click the Ignore button, Reviewer opens the Exemption dialog for you to record why the failure is being ignored (type the reason in the Comment box).
After choosing to ignore a Review failure, the item will not be listed as a failure and instead an 'Ignored' link will appear. You can click the 'Ignored' link to view the recorded reason as to why the failure is being ignored. You can also choose to stop ignoring items that are being ignored.
Example
We run a report and Class1 fails a review because it does not appear on a diagram.
We click the Ignore button and in the Exemption dialog we specify the reason for why the failure is being ignored in the Comment box, that is, 'Class is not required on any diagrams'.
Next time we run the report, the item is not listed as a failure and instead an Ignored link appears. The number of failures that are being ignored is shown after the link.
We click the Ignored link and the reason we typed for ignoring the failure is displayed.
We can stop the item from being ignored by clicking the Don't Ignore This button.
Comment button
The Comment button allows you to add a comment to an item in the context of a failed Review.
After commenting on an item that has failed a Review, the comment will appear whenever that item fails that Review in future.
Select in Modeler button
The Select in Modeler button selects the reported item in Modeler.
