Activity group (automation interface)

An Activity Group is the underlying Modeler Automation Interface object for Activity Partition, Interruptible Activity Region and Structured Activity Node items.

In addition to the common attributes

A textual property that gives an overview of the dictionary item.

Access is read/write.

A string that specifies whether the Activity Group is an Activity Partition, Interruptible Activity Region or Structured Activity Node. Possible values are as follows:

Access is read/write.

A Boolean property that specifies whether the Activity Partition groups other Activity Partitions along a dimension. Possible values are TRUE or FALSE.

The attribute applies only when the Activity Group is an Activity Partition, that is, the Group Type is Activity Partition.

Access is read/write.

A Boolean property that specifies whether the Activity Partition represents an entity to which the partitioning structure does not apply.

The attribute applies only when the Activity Group is an Activity Partition, that is, the Group Type is Activity Partition.

Access is read/write.

A Boolean property that specifies that the actions in the Structured Activity Node execute in isolation from actions outside the Structured Activity Node.

The attribute applies only when the Activity Group is a Structured Activity Node, that is, the Group Type is Structured Activity Node.

Access is read/write.

Relationship to Activity Groups that scoped directly to the Action Group.

• An Interruptible Activity Region cannot directly scope any Action Groups.

• A Structured Activity Node can directly scope other Structured Activity Nodes.

• An Activity Partition can directly scope other Activity Partitions.

Relationship to Comments that are applied to the Activity Group.

Relationship to Constraints that are applied to the Activity Group.

A relationship to the item that is represented by the Activity Partition.

The association applies only when the Activity Group is an Activity Partition, that is, the Group Type is Activity Partition.

Relationship to Constraints that are owned by the Activity Group.

For Activity Groups of type Structured Activity Node only, a relationship to Activity Flow objects whose start and end objects are owned by the Activity Group.

A relationship to the Activity or Activity Group (Structured Activity Node) that scopes the Action Group:

• For an Activity Partition, the owner can be an Activity or an Activity Partition.

• For an Interruptible Activity Region, the owner is an Activity.

• For a Structured Activity Node, the owner can be an Activity or a Structured Activity Node.

Multiplicity is 1, access is read/write.

A relationship to the Activity for which the Activity Group is a child item.

Multiplicity is 1, access is read-only.

The relationship applies only to Structured Activity Nodes.

A relationship to Activity Partitions that reference the Structured Activity Node. An Activity Partition references a Structured Activity Node when that Structured Activity Node is created on or moved to the Activity Partition on an Activity Diagram.
