Common associations (automation interface)
All or most objects can have these associations.
Associated Diagram
Relationship with diagrams that are linked through the Link > Associated Diagrams link.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read only.
Change
Relationship with a change object that records a change to the item.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read only.
Child Diagram
A diagram detailing the inner composition of a dictionary item.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read-only.
Child Object
A collection of items that are directly scoped to the item.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read-only.
See also Owned Contents.
Dependee
A collection of items that are dependees of the item - as defined through Dependees links.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read-only.
Note that for a Dependency, the collection of items that are dependees of that Dependency can be accessed through the 'The Dependee' association.
Dependency End
A collection of Dependencies for which the item is the dependee - as defined through Dependees links.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read/write.
Dependency Start
A collection of Dependencies for which the item is the dependent - as defined through Dependees links.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read/write.
Dependent
A collection of items that are dependent on the item - as defined through Dependees links.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read-only.
Note that for a Dependency, the collection of items that are dependents of that Dependency can be accessed through the 'The Dependent' association.
Owned Contents
A collection of items that are children of the item.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read-only.
See also Child Object.
Representation
A collection of Activity Groups of type Activity Partition that represent the item.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read/write.
Scoping Item
Relationship to the parent item.
Multiplicity is 1, access is read/write.
Stereotype
Relationship to stereotypes that are applied to an item.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read/write.
Symbol Style
Relationship to a symbol style object that stores an item's style settings, that is, its icon, image, font and color settings.
Multiplicity is 0-1, access is read/write.
Tag Definitions
Relationship to tag definitions that are applied to an item.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read only.
Using Diagram
A diagram on which a dictionary item appears.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read-only.
Valid Stereotypes
Relationship to stereotypes that are valid for the item's type.
This relationship includes Stereotypes that have their Script Only property set to TRUE.
If a Stereotype has its Script Only property set to TRUE, that Stereotype cannot be applied to items through the Modeler user interface, but it can be applied to items through the Modeler Automation Interface.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read only.
See also, Valid Selectable Stereotypes.
Valid Selectable Stereotypes
Relationship to stereotypes that are valid for the item's type and can be selected through the Modeler user interface.
This relationship excludes Stereotypes that have their Script Only property set to TRUE.
If a Stereotype has its Script Only property set to TRUE, that Stereotype cannot be applied to items through the Modeler user interface, but it can be applied to items through the Modeler Automation Interface.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read only.
See also, Valid Stereotypes.
Variable Element
Relationship to Variation Points and Variants that are linked to the item through Artifact Dependencies.
Multiplicity is 0+, access is read-only.
