The Revision History pane allows you to specify a revision history that can be included in the generated output through the Revision History assigned item.
To add an entry to the revision history, click the Add button, and then from the New Revision History Item dialog, specify the following information:
• Version - specify the version number of the revision.
• Date - specify the date of the revision.
• Change Request No- specify the change request number that relates to the revision.
• Superseded Documents/Description/Details- specify which version of the generated output is superseded by the revision, a description of the revision, and the details of the changes that have been made to the generated output.
Note that a Custom Revision History table does not use data from the Revision History pane.
To include the Revision History in the generated output:
1. In the Document Structure pane, select the parent item for the revision history.
2. Click the Add Publisher Revision History Section button.
3. If you do not want to use the default Date and Version column widths. Set the values of the Date Column Width (cm) and Version Column Width (cm) properties as required.
