Moving items in the document structure (Publisher)
You can change the structure of a document structure by moving items through drag-and-drop operations, and through the Move Up and Move Down buttons.
To move an item to a new parent item:
In the Document Structure pane, drag the item you want to move to a new parent item.
Alternatively:
1. In the Document Structure pane, right-click the item you want to move, and then click Cut.
2. Right-click the item that you want to be the parent of the item you cut, and then click Paste.
Notes:
You cannot move a document structure item's child roles or child types to another parent.
If you have more than one Document Definition open, you can move an item to a different Document Definition by hovering the mouse pointer over the Document Definition's tab.
To change the order of an item's child items:
1. Select the child item you want to move.
2. Click the Move Up or Move Down button.
