Synchronizing requirements the first time (Integration for IBM Rational DOORS)
When you synchronize requirements for the first time, you may have SysML Requirements in a Modeler Model that require exporting to a DOORS surrogate module, or DOORS requirements in a DOORS surrogate module that require importing to a Modeler Package.
To import DOORS requirements to a Modeler model the first time:
1. From Modeler, open the model that owns the Package into which you want to import the DOORS requirements.
2. On the Tools menu, point to DOORS, and then click Synchronize.
3. Set the options on each page of Integration for IBM Rational DOORS as required.
If you require help for any of Integration for IBM Rational DOORS pages, click the Help button.
*
On the Common Mapping Options page, select the RequirementMapping option.
On the Requirement Mapping Options page, select the DOORS ->Modeler option.
On the Synchronize page, click the Save Mapping and Synchronize button so that you can repeat the synchronization using the same settings.
4. After the synchronization is complete, if necessary, save the surrogate module and associated link module.
5. On the Synchronization Log page, review the log for any problems that occurred during the synchronization.
