A Typically Provides Competence is a deprecated UPDM 1.1 element that is included to support models that have been migrated from Studio 8.0.
Creation
To create a Typically Provides Competence:
From a Capability Configuration, Organization, Physical Architecture, Post, Resource Artifact, Responsibility, Service Access or Software: right-click the element, point to Links, point to Operational, and then click Typically Provided Competence. From the Links Editor dialog, select the required Competence elements.
From a Competence: right-click the Competence, point to Links, point to Operational, and then click Typically Provided By. From the Links Editor dialog, select the elements that require the Competence.
From an NOV-4 Typical Organizational Relationships Chart: click the Typically Provides Competence button, click the source Organization, Post or Responsibility, and then click the provided Competence.
