Creation
To create an Is Capable Of Performing relationship from a Node or Security Domain to a performed Operational Activity or Standard Operational Activity:
From a Node or Security Domain: right-click the element, point to Links, point to All, and then click Performs. From the Links Editor dialog, select the performed Operational Activity or Standard Operational Activity.
From an NOV-5 Operational Activity Hierarchy: click the Is Capable Of Performing button, click the Node or Security Domain, and then click the performed Operational Activity or Standard Operational Activity.
From an NOV-5 Operational Activity Model: create an Operational Partition that uses the Node or Security Domain as its type, and then within the Operational Partition create an Operational Activity Action that uses the performed Operational Activity or Standard Operational Activity as its type.
*
Moving an Operational Activity Action to an Operational Partition creates an Is Capable Of Performing relationship, and moving an Operational Activity Action from an Operational Partition deletes the Is Capable Of Performing relationship.
To create an Is Capable Of Performing relationship from a Capability Configuration, Organization, Physical Architecture, Post, Resource Artifact, Responsibility, Service Access or Software to a performed Function:

From an NSV-4 Functionality Hierarchy: click the Is Capable Of Performing button, click the source element, and then click the performed Function.
The source element can be a Capability Configuration, Organization, Physical Architecture, Post, Resource Artifact, Responsibility or Service Access.
From an NSV-4 Functionality Description: create a Function Partition that uses the Capability Configuration, Organization, Physical Architecture, Post, Resource Artifact, Responsibility or Service Access as its type, and then within the Function Partition create a Function Action that uses the performed Function as its type.
