Setting up a block property as shared - not composite (SysML)
By default, a new Block Property is set up as not shared, that is, composite.
Note that on an Internal Block Diagram, a shared Block Property is shown with a dashed outline.
To determine whether a block property is set up as shared or not:
1. Open the Block Property's Property Pages.
2. Click the Options tab.
3. If the Composite check box is selected, the Block Property is not set up as shared.
If the Composite check box is cleared, the Block Property is not set up as shared.
To set up a block property as shared (not composite):
1. Right-click the Block Property, point to Set, and then click Is Composite.
2. In the dialog, select FALSE to specify that the Block Property is shared, that is, not composite.
3. Click OK.
To set up a block property as not shared (composite):
1. Right-click the Block Property, point to Set, and then click Is Composite.
2. In the dialog, select TRUE to specify that the Block Property is not shared, that is, composite.
3. Click OK.
