Surrogate mapping options page (Integration for PTC RV&S)
This page of Integration for Lifecycle Manager allows you to specify how items are organized in the PTC RV&S Document.
To specify that items are organized as they appear in the Modeler Package hierarchy: select the Package Hierarchy option. To create an item in the PTC RV&S Document to represent the Modeler root item: select the Create Item in Integrity Lifecycle Manager for Root Item check box. Note that the order of Package siblings may not appear as it does in Modeler.
To specify that items are organized by the Modeler item and diagram types they represent: select the Group By Type option. To ensure that Integration for Lifecycle Manager does not move items in the Windchill RV&S Document: select the Do No Move Items in Integrity Lifecycle Manager check box.
In addition to the common navigation buttons, the following controls appear on this page of Integration for Lifecycle Manager.
Structure Options group:
• Package Hierarchy option - specifies that Integration for Lifecycle Manager organizes the items in the PTC RV&S Document as they appear in the Modeler Package hierarchy. Note that the order of Package siblings may not appear as it does in Modeler.
• Create Item in Integrity Lifecycle Manager for Root Item check box - specifies that an item is created in the PTC RV&S Document for the Model or Package that is root item, as selected on the Model and Integrity Lifecycle Manager Document Selection page.
• Group By Type option - specifies that Integration for Lifecycle Manager groups the items in the Windchill RV&S Document by their item type or diagram type.
• Do Not Move Items in Integrity Lifecycle Manager check box - specifies that Integration for Lifecycle Manager will not change the order of any items that already exist in the Windchill RV&S Document.
To progress through Integration for Lifecycle Manager: click Next.
