Adding a Plot Legend
You can add a plot legend to XY plots and to polar plots.
1. Click inside a plot region.
2. On the Plots tab, in the Traces group, click Plot Legend. The legend region appears on the plot. It will contain legends for all the traces in your plot.
3. You can modify the legend text by selecting it and entering text.
Removing the Plot Legend
1. Click inside a plot region that has a legend.
2. On the Plots tab, in the Plot Labels group, click Plot Legend. The legend region disappears.
Additions Information
• When you remove the legend and then toggle it back, the legend text and formatting defined previously is restored.
