Adding and Removing Plot Titles and Axis Titles
You can add a plot title to XY and polar plots, and axis titles to XY plots.
Adding a Plot Title
You can add plot titles to XY plots and polar plots.
1. Click inside a plot region.
2. On the Plots tab, in the Plot Labels group, click Plot Title. The Plot Title region appears on the plot.
3. Enter the title of the plot.
Removing the Plot Title
1. Click inside a plot region or directly on the axis title region.
2. On the Plots tab, in the Plot Labels group, click Plot Title. The plot title region disappears.
3. Alternatively, you can delete the entire title text and click outside the plot region.
Adding an Axis Title
You can add axis titles to XY plots.
1. Click inside an axis expression.
2. On the Plots tab, in the Plot Labels group, click Axis Title. The title region appears beside the axis.
3. Enter the title of the axis.
4. You can repeat this process to add titles to all the axes in your plot.
Removing an Axis Title
1. Click inside an axis expression.
2. On the Plots tab, in the Plot Labels group, click Axis Title. The axis title region disappears.
3. Alternatively, you can delete the entire axis title text and click outside the plot region.
Additions Information
When you remove a title using the Plot Title or the Axis Title buttons and then toggle it back, the previously defined title is restored.
