Configuring the JT Adapter
After you install the JT Adapter, configure it according to the instructions under Using jt2pv_config on Windows in the Configuring the JT Adapter section of the ProductView Adapters Installation and Configuration Guide.
When you run the jt2pv_config program, enter the following in the ProductView JT Adapter Configuration dialog box:
Server Host: Your Arbortext IsoDraw host computer name. This host name is listed in your Arbortext IsoDraw license file. It is also found between the @ symbol and ; (semicolon) in the Variable value field for the Arbortext IsoDraw System Variable, PTC_D_LICENSE_FILE.
Server Port: The port number you want the JT Adapter to use to communicate with the embedded ProductView client in Arbortext IsoDraw. The port number should match the port number in your Arbortext IsoDraw license file. It is also the first four digits in the Variable value field for the Arbortext IsoDraw System Variable, PTC_D_LICENSE_FILE.
These settings identify the Arbortext IsoDraw host to the “Worker Agent” software, jtworker, which manages the relationship between JT and the Visualization server. The jtworker agent also converts the CAD data to the ProductView format used by the embedded ProductView client in Arbortext IsoDraw.
