About This Guide
This Arbortext IsoDraw Data Exchange Reference describes how to use Arbortext IsoDraw to exchange graphics data between graphics files with different formats. Use it to help you configure settings in Arbortext IsoDraw before performing graphics conversion tasks, such as:
Importing a third-party graphics file into Arbortext IsoDraw for editing and saving in native Arbortext IsoDraw ISO (.iso) file format.
Exporting an ISO file to a file in a third-party graphics format.
Batch-converting files in one graphics format to a different format.
Arbortext IsoDraw supports over twenty different third-party formats in addition to native ISO format. These include (but are not limited to): Pro/ENGINEER (.prt and .asm), IGES, CGM, DWG, and Adobe Illustrator (.ai).
For 2D graphics conversion, you can perform the procedures in this guide using either Arbortext IsoDraw Foundation or Arbortext IsoDraw CADprocess. For 3D graphics conversion, you must use Arbortext IsoDraw CADprocess.
