Using Functions from the Object Window
Checking and Changing 3D Data using Functions from the Object Window
The object window depicts all the groups and elements in a file with the relevant object information. Accordingly, all the object information contained in imported 3D data is also displayed. All layers are depicted also.
The diverse range of functions in the object window can be used to check and change this data. A detailed description of all the functions can be found in the Arbortext IsoDraw User's Reference in the section Working in the 3D window.
This object window exercise involves hiding certain parts of an assembly. The remaining parts are then to be prepared for a spare part drawing. Once the drawing has been converted, it can be completed in 2D illustration.
The drawing prepared in 3D mode will then be used again in the following section Exporting from 3D Mode.
