Machine Code Settings Tab
A machine code is a status code that is generated by a work unit. Each machine code is mapped to reason code. When data automation is configured and a machine code is received by the system, DPM creates a loss event with the reason code for that machine code.
The Machine Code Settings tab is available on work unit details pages.
On this tab you can see all the machine codes for the work unit and the reason codes that are assigned to each machine code.
You can narrow down the list by entering search criteria in the Filter field.
To reassign a reason code to a machine code in the list, select the machine code and click Assign.
The total number of results is displayed at the bottom of the table. To move between results on different pages, click
