To Create a New Figure
1. Click

New Figure. A list opens with the available 2D and 3D view states, sheets, or both.

◦ For 3D figures, select a view and then click Create to create the figure and keep the dialog box open. Click Create and Close to create the new figure and close the dialog box.
◦ For 2D figures, select a view and then click Create to create the figure and keep the dialog box open. Click Create and Close to create the new figure and close the dialog box.
◦ For Schematic figures, select a sheet and then click Create.
 | To see a preview of the figure, select the Preview check box. |
3. To edit the settings for 2D figures, click 2D Figure Settings. For more information, see
To Customize the Settings for 2D Figures.
4. For Schematic figures, click Filter to filter the list of Schematic sheets in the tree display. For more information, see
To Filter Schematic Sheets.
5. To close the dialog box without creating a new figure, click Close.
