To Customize Settings for a 2D Figure
1. Click Figure > New Figure. The New Figure dialog box opens.
2. Under 2D, select a view and then click 2D Figure Settings. The 2D Figure dialog box opens.
3. Customize the following 2D figure settings:
For HLR and Pens settings, use the HLR tab.

Select the Use pens from parent 3D figure check box to apply the pen settings used in the 3D parent figure.

Select the Use settings from parent 3D figure check box at the top of each tab to apply the settings used in the 3D parent figure. When you use the settings, it signifies a continuous relationship between the 2D figure and its 3D parent. The parent settings are applied to the 2D figure upon creation. Updates made to the parent 3D figure are then subsequently applied to the dependent 2D figure.
4. Click Create to create the 2D figure and keep the dialog box open. Click Create and Close to create the 2D figure and close the dialog box.
