To Modify the Display of Parts in Edit Structure Mode
1. Click Tools > Edit Structure. The Structure Edit tab opens, indicated by these application window changes:
The Home tab includes structure editing command buttons.
The primary panel displays the sBOM tree only.
The upper data panel displays the eBOM tree only.
The figure window is the Structure Edit window, and it shows a graphical representation of the eBOM CAD data.
2. Deselect Color Code View.
3. To change the color of parts:
a. Select parts from the sBOM tree or from the graphics view.
b. Click Home > Select sBOM.
c. Click Parts > Color or Home > Color.
Otherwise, right-click and choose Edit Properties, and then choose Appearance. The Part Properties dialog box opens in the Appearance view. Click on the color picker rectangle.
The Choose Color dialog box opens.
4. Select the color and click OK. The color of the selected parts updates.
5. In the Part Properties dialog box, the Original Color label changes to sBOM Color.
6. You can toggle between Restore Color > Restore to sBOM Color and Restore Color > Restore to Original Color.

Restore to sBOM Color is available if there is a saved sBOM color. This option is available for a part after you define a default color and exit Edit Structure for the first time.
The option currently displayed is grayed out.
7. To turn on Phantom display style, select parts from the sBOM tree or from the Structure Edit view, then click Home > Select sBOM, and then click Parts > Phantom.
Otherwise, right-click and choose Edit Properties, and then choose Appearance. The Part Properties dialog box opens in the Appearance view. Click Phantom.
8. To change the degree of transparency, in the Part Properties dialog box, move the slider between Opaque (0%) and Transparent (100%) or type a value in the transparency % box.
9. You can toggle between Restore Display Style > Restore to sBOM Style and Restore Display Style > Restore to Original Style.

10. Under Geometry, select Treat as Solid Geometry for sectioned parts to appear capped.
11. Click Home > Close Edit to exit Structure Edit mode.
