Colors of parts in a model can be engineering-based and not the actual default color of the part. In Edit Structure mode you can edit the default color of parts so that they appear in all figures with their actual colors. In addition, to focus on a subset of parts, you can change the display of surrounding parts to exhibit Phantom display style.
